2020 Tax Updates
As a reminder, filing and payment deadlines for both 2019 Federal and Massachusetts income tax returns and balance due tax payments have been extended until July 15th along with most states. In addition to income tax filing and balance due tax payments, both IRS and Massachusetts first and second quarter estimated tax payments have also been extended to July 15th. Please note, there are some states that still require first quarter estimated tax payments such as Hawaii (Due 4/20/2020) and the District of Columbia (Due 4/15/2020). Finally, 2019 contributions to IRA and Self-Employed Pension (SEP) retirement accounts are also due by July 15, 2020.
